SUBDIVISION MEETING:
A 2022 Annual Subdivision Meeting was held on Monday August 8th, 2022 at 6pm. The meeting was held at Whitecliff Community Center in Crestwood. The agenda used for the meeting is posted on the homepage of this website. The agenda was also emailed out to with the subdivision email system and hand delivered door to door as well, both in mid July. Please note that this meeting also served as a Special Meeting where residents voted on if fines will be levied against two Lots for violations of the Indentures that have not been corrected as requested by the Trustees. Roughly 25% of the 106 residences in the subdivision were represented at the meeting.
Annual meetings were not able to be held in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. The Trustees tried repeatedly in 2021 to have a meeting, but a venue could not be secured.
YARD WASTE PICKUP:
Our trash service contract allows for three yard waste pickups to be made each year. You do not have to have the optional yard waste service to participate in this pickup. These occur typically in April, June, and October. Each household may put out up to 10 bags of yard waste in the brown paper bags. Alternatively, unlined trash cans may be used. They will not take plastic bags. Please note that yard waste is picked up very early in the morning, so bags should be put out the evening before.
COMMON GROUND MAINTENANCE WORK (FALL 2021):
The trustees have made a plan to complete some maintenance of the common ground area where it backs up to resident's property. This is on the west side of the subdivision along Southridge Meadows Drive and Southridge Meadows Court. The woods and overgrowth have crept up to and against property lines here, and we decided it was time to trim this area back. In some areas, we are having issues getting lawnmowers access to perform their regular cutting work. This project should help resolve that. We do not plan to remove any large trees, but smaller unwanted growth will be removed. This work will begin approximately middle of next week on or around Weds 10/13 (weather pending). The work will be performed by a land maintenance contractor and they will be using machinery to do this work. The machines will mulch up most of the material and leave it behind on the ground.
The trustees wanted to provide notice of this work to you before it begins. The work should take several days to complete. Trustees will be monitoring the work. If you have any personal belongings stored beyond your property line, you may want to move it onto your property while this work is performed. If you let pets or small children out in an unfenced yard, please keep a close eye on them if machines are working behind your house at that time. The project will be funded by your assessments and paid out of reserve funds that we have built up for necessary large expenses like this. If you have any questions, feel free to contact a trustee (David Hamtil, Linda Operle, or Tina McMillan). If you don’t know how to reach one of us directly, you can send an email to the subdivision email address at southridgepines@gmail.com
SUBDIVISION PARTY:
Our last subdivision party was in June 2019. The subdivision provided the main dish of BBQ (pulled pork, hamburgers, and hot dogs) and residents brought sides and desserts to share. We hope to have one again in future years. Possibly in 2023.
SUBDIVISION GARAGE SALE:
There are currently no subdivision garage sales planned at this time.
TRASH SERVICE DETAILS (Updated March 2018):
Your trash service is paid by the HOA through your assessments. Optional services that you can opt to have (which would be billed directly to your household):
